Growing up in Australia, Jim loved sports and music. In the earlier days sport was the focus, leading to him playing Professional Rugby League, then a Tennis Professional, later becoming a Golf Professional. When he turned 50 Jim competed in the PGA Champions qualifying tournament, which fulfilled a lifelong dream and crushed a limiting belief he had held for most of his life. Jim's transition from professional sports to professional musician, alongside his personal and spiritual growth, has transformed his approach to music.

Through his sincere performances, he cultivates a sense of warmth and unity that resonates with audiences, leaving an enduring impact on all who have the privilege of listening. Despite gaining prominence, Jim remains modest and rooted, using his gift to uplift and motivate others rather than pursuing personal acclaim. His music transcends mere entertainment, offering solace and forging connections with all who experience it.
